Perfect scrambled eggs!

Scrambled eggs is perfect for breakfast with some crispy bacon to go along with it. I’ve noticed that a lot of people here in Norway and Sweden believes that scrambling eggs is just to crack eggs in to a pan and stir with a spatula. And when it’s a bit brown – it’s done. I hope that this recipe will help you to understand that it’s not difficult to get fluffy, creamy and perfect scrambled eggs with no fuzz.

Ingredients:perfect scrambled eggs delliedelicious 2
(2 portions)
6 eggs
90 ml milk
0,5 tsp salt
a pinch of pepper
2 tbsp butter
parsley (optional)

Crack the eggs into a bowl, add the milk, salt and pepper. Place butter in a pan and melt it on low heat. This is important. Don’t ever cook scrambled eggs on high- or medium heat.
Now, take your whisk and whisk like you have never whisked before. Whisk like a crazy person. Whisk, whisk and whisk! The batter should be very bubbly and airy. Now very carefully pour it into the pan and let it sit for a few minutes. Now, take your spatula, and carefully drag it along the bottom of the pan so that the eggs that have starting to cook don’t stick to the bottom. Keep doing this for a few minutes. It’s very important that the eggs DON’T get any colour. When your eggs are in chunks and still look a little wet, remove them from the pan and place them on plates. Eggs always keeps cooking after removing them from heat.

Chop some parsley and serve! You need to have patience while cooking scrambled eggs. If you do, they will be perfect and delicious!

  1. This really is the most fantastic Easter Sunday breakfast although I did add a golden slice of toast at the very botten!
    A lamb roast to be prepared a little later on.
