Easy & Delicious Detox Drink

This drink is so easy to make and it tastes delicious too! Have a glass each day or pour into a bottle and sip on it during the day. It’s packed with lemon, turmeric and ginger. The cayenne pepper gives it a great punch and you can just feel this drink helping your body out in all sorts of ways.

Ingredients:
1000 ml water
1 lemon
1 lime
5 cm piece of ginger
4 cm piece of turmeric
2-3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp cayenne (or to taste, I like my drinks spicy)

Method:
Bring water to a boil and set a side for 10 minutes. Meanwhile water cools down – squeeze one lemon and one lime into a bottle or jug that holds about 1000 ml. Grate ginger and turmeric and add to jug (be careful while grating your turmeric! It stains! A lot! So I always put some plastic wrap on my counter top and under the grater so there’s no mess). Add apple cider vinegar, honey and cayenne. Now pour you cooled down water into jug and stir. Lid on, and place in your fridge. Wait for at least 12 hours before drinking. Keeps up to 5 days in fridge.
