Chili Syrup – perfect for Cocktails

Since I love drinks with a little kick to it, I like to add some chili syrup to my cocktails. It’s super simple, as always, and has few ingredients. Try to add it to other things than cocktail. A little drizzle on your brownie perhaps?
Make this syrup 4 hours ahead and it keeps in the fridge for up to one month.

Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 roughly chilis (this amount depends on how spicy your chilis are)

Method: 
Bring sugar and water to a boil. Once boiling add the chilis and let this simmer for 10 minutes on medium heat. Taste during this time so you get the right amount of heat that you prefer.
Pour the syrup into a sterilized bottle, cover and let it cool in room temperature. Once cool place the bottle in the refrigerator until it’s time to use it.
